5 days Morocco itinerary - Imperial Cities Express Tour 2026

Have breakfast and tour of the city of Casablanca’s main tourist spots, including the United Nations Square, the Anfa area, and the Hassan II Grand Mosque (entrance fee and tour included). Continue your journey to Meknes. We begin with a panoramic view of the 40 kilometers (25 miles) of walls that surround and defend this imperial city, leading to the magnificent Bab Al Mansour, Morocco’s and North Africa’s largest gate. After a lunch break, we’ll travel to Fes. Dinner is provided at the hotel.

After breakfast, we visit Fes, the oldest of the imperial cities, beginning with a panoramic tour with a local guide from the viewpoint, from where we can see both the contemporary and the old city. We continue our tour of the contemporary region, taking in sights like the Royal Palace gates, the Bab Jeloud, and the Jewish Quarter. After finishing the contemporary zone, we go through Fez’s medina on foot, taking in the historic Bou Inania Madrasa as well as the districts of the various artisans: goldsmiths, carpenters, loom workers, and concluding with the famed tanneries. The afternoon is yours to explore the city some more. Dinner is provided at your Riad.

After breakfast, depart towards Rabat, making minor stops along the way. Upon arrival, we tour Mohammed V’s Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, and the outside of the Royal Palace. Following that, we visit the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a historic fortification in Rabat with a very attractive architecture that contrasts greatly with the rest of the city. You have the afternoon to further explore the city. Dinner is included in your Riad stay.

After you check out and have breakfast in the Riad, we will pick you up and transport you to Casablanca airport at the agreed-upon hour. That ends our Imperial Cities Express Tour.
