Day 1

Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora

Your 2-days desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora starts at 8: 00 a.m when our driver will pick you up from Marrakech. you will travel through the magical Atlas Mountains through the spectacular mountain Tizi n‘Tichka pass. It is the breathtaking highest road mountain in Morocco, 2260 m. On your way, you will discover with a local guide Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will have lunch. Then you will continue your tour to Zagora through Draa Valley, the longest river in Morocco and the home of Berber Villages. Upon arrival at Zagora, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking sunset from the top of a camel across the rocky dunes of Zagora on your way to the desert camp. At night, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner while locals play their traditional folk songs before choosing whether to sleep under a blue sky filled with stars or in a desert tent.

Day 2

Zagora – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

In the morning, you will have a typical breakfast in the bivouac while enjoying the sunrise over the dunes of Zagora. Then, you will have the chance again to ride a camel to meet your driver who will drive you back to Marrakech. On your way to Marrakech, you will have some free time in Ouarzazate where you will have your lunch. You will have the opportunity to visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt, an impressive building and a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the afternoon, you will resume your way to Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains. At 6:00 p.m, you will be dropped off in your accommodation bringing an end to your 2-days desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora.
